Just checked in to the conference hotel for my first in-person ASA event; this also happens to be my first time in Colorado! I'm excited for the myriad posters and talks on speech production and perception through this week, along with content within the broader scope of acoustics (it's always different hearing people talk, compared to reading the paper, and this content doesn't have as much representation at my typical conference haunts).
Visit my poster! I'm excited to share some really cool findings on perception of informational structure/ acoustic prominence/ vocal prosody by listeners with cochlear implants.
Spoiler: The findings are more interesting than "listeners with cochlear implants perform worse"!
